Development of the photorefractive optical anisotropic quartz fibers technology

Enhancement of the up-to-date fiber optic measuring complexes accuracy requires anisotropic single-mode fiber light guides that maintain radiation polarization. These light guides comprise the cores with birefringence being higher than usual optical fibers.

For effective introduction of the fiber Bragg gratings arrays into such light guides, it is necessary to develop technology of the anisotropic optical fibers with enhanced photo refractivity.
